Waterstones are delighted to announce that Jo will be doing a UK event this summer at their flagship store, Waterstones Piccadilly. The event is on Monday 23rd July at at 7pm, where Jo will be in conversation with Barry Forshaw about Phantom and his standalone thriller Headhunters. We're delighted to announce that Jo has been shortlisted for the presitigious CWA International Dagger Award 2012. The competition is for crime, thriller, suspense or spy fiction novels which have been translated into English from their original language for UK publication - and Jo has been shortlisted for his latest Harry Hole thriller to be translated into English, Phantom. This is the third time Nesbo is shortlisted for The CWA International Dagger. The Redbreast was shortlisted in 2007 and The Redeemer in 2009.
