  • Jo Nesbo: UK Waterstones event

    Waterstones are delighted to announce that Jo will be doing a UK event this summer at their flagship store, Waterstones Piccadilly. The event is on Monday 23rd July at at 7pm, where Jo will be in conversation with Barry Forshaw about Phantom and his standalone thriller Headhunters. On Tuesday 24th July, Jo will visit the Waterstones Leadenhall Market store to sign copies of Phantom from 12.30pm. For more information about these events and to book tickets please click here.

  • Jo Nesbo Shortlisted for CWA International Dagger!

    CWA International Dagger AwardWe're delighted to announce that Jo has been shortlisted for the presitigious CWA International Dagger Award 2012. The competition is for crime, thriller, suspense or spy fiction novels which have been translated into English from their original language for UK publication - and Jo has been shortlisted for his latest Harry Hole thriller to be translated into English, Phantom. This is the third time Nesbo is shortlisted for The CWA International Dagger. The Redbreast was shortlisted in 2007 and The Redeemer in 2009.     Small DemonsWe’re very excited to announce that here at Harvill Secker & Vintage we have partnered with Small Demons, a wonderful website which lets people explore and discover books in new ways by extracting and displaying all the people, places and things mentioned within them. Using a mixture of machine intelligence and human touch, Small Demons identifies and cross-references every person, place, song, book, film, food, drink, gadget and more.

    Our first books to launch on the site are Jo Nesbo’s - giving fans an exciting new way to explore the world of his books and also giving new readers the chance to discover Jo’s crime fiction through the shared internal cultural connections with other books.
